Manolo Mesa from Cadiz, Spain. This is from his Instagram:
Those glimmers that evoke the effects of time are produced by the dirt on my hands, covered in paint...
In another anonymous house, I was able to observe, in the deep light of a window, the reflection of those jugs in a new and different space. I found this set of traditional vessels from Úbeda, specifically from the pottery workshop of Tito, as could be read in the signature hidden on the side of the jugs...
Certainly, if our ancestors had found that shine—functionally derived from glass—and had let themselves be enchanted by its colors… it was hardly by pure chance.
From the series “Anonymous Houses.”
This mural was very complex to compose and paint, but in winter it will have another perspective when all the leaves fall.
Hopefully there will be a new post with a new photo.
