Boire un schlouk & Manger un stuck

This collage is part of the series “Au pied de la lettre” (to the letter) begun by Les Murs ont des Oreilles in the fall of 2020.
The Alsatian expressions “Boire un Schluck” and “Manger un Stück” (which mean “to drink a sip” and “to eat a piece”) are illustrated by the painting The Legend, created in 1827 by the painter Cornélis Kruseman and exhibited at the Teylers Museum in Haarlem (Netherlands).
