“Home in the mountains” is a mural I painted in the end 2023 at Pleven hut-the highest Stara Planina hut in Bulgaria. I know, we all enjoy our time spent in the mountains, but we should never forget, that we are just guests there. We should be respectful to the residents of the forests, of the cliffs, the wildlife that lives there. A man could be invited by Mother Nature and her creatures and be treated as a dear guest, if one respects the unwritten laws of our environment. My time painting was accompanied by few bird species, that didn’t migrate, some foxes and wolves. I had the experience to paint in the freezing cold, in the strong December winds and the first snow blizzard for this winter for me.
