Saint Crépin et Saint Crépinien

The Crepin and Crépinien shoemakers made shoes for the poor. Christians from Rome, they preached in Soissons but were arrested and martyred. Their worship has long been popular as evidenced by the churches built in their honor and the sculptures of the two saints at the Saint-Léger museum.
