Camille Claudel

Born in Fère-en-Tardenois, she spent her childhood not far from Soissons in Villeneuve-sur-Fère before starting her career as a sculptor. Her passion for Auguste Rodin, to whom she was pupil, assistant, mistress and muse, led her to madness and internment.
