The concept of this mural is "吃喝玩樂" (literal translation: to eat, drink and be joyous). The fortune cat, is widely used among Chinese merchants to bring fortune and is also often seen on display in the shops in Chinatown. The lion dancers represents the spectacular performances often seen in Chinatown. The four red lanterns represents the four main racial groups in Singapore.
