Windows

This project delves into the special relationship between windows and the communal spaces around Little India. Through the portrayal of different types of shophouses, past to present, Windows seeks to show the juxtaposition of postmodernist imagery in modern environments. One such example of a contrast is Hoe Hong Trading Co Pte Ltd, one of the earliest car dealers to set up shop in the early 70s that can be located along 1 and 3 Dunlop Street. Though the street has since changed drastically, this store remains a staple.
