“The nature of the naturalist”

I painted this mural in a tribute to one of the biggest Bulgarian naturalists- doctor Petar Beron. He is mainly know for being the creator of the Fish Primer. Fish Primer, was a Bulgarian schoolbook, the first primer printed in modern Bulgarian. It is considered by an author to be the first Bulgarian encyclopedia. The book was written and published by Petar Beron in 1824. It’s been 200 years since then. A school named after the scientist contacted me to paint a tribute mural. My main goal was to bring life and do the job in more illustrative way, getting far from these boring portrait tributes all these figure get.
