Tereza de Benguela

Description

Tereza de Benguela was an enslaved woman in colonial Brazil who became a symbol of resistance.

This mural is a tribute to all Black women who have fought and continue to fight for their rights.

This project was carried out with financial resources from the MAR Project – Museu de Arte de Rua – Call No. 08/2024/SMC/CPROG.
