Conquista de Sevilla

Description

This mural depicts one of Admiral Ramón de Bonifaz's ships breaking the chains that blocked access to Seville via the Guadalquivir River. It was a feat that forever united Cantabria and Seville and appears on the coats of arms of the city of Santander and the autonomous community of Cantabria.

Esta obra representa uno de los barcos del almirante Ramón de Bonifaz rompiendo las cadenas que impedían la entrada a Sevilla por el río Guadalquivir. Fue una gesta que unió para siempre a Cantabria y Sevilla y aparece en los escudos de la ciudad de Santander y de la comunidad autónoma.
