Everyone has his own target

The intervention takes inspiration from the 'Palio della Balestra', a historical manifestation born during the Middle Ages to train citizens to the defense of the village that, being in a border area, has always been the subject of contention for the lords of other neighboring cities. The event has been historically documented since the fifteenth century and is repeated every year in September.

The peculiar character of Zed1 is armed with crossbow and dresses the typical historical costumes with the colors of the neighborhood hosting the murals (Sant'Antonio), becoming one of the crossbowmen that every year animate the competition. Targets are transformed into objects of desire such as material goods, love, happiness or loyalty of a dog. He draws the arrows from a quiver that recalls the protagonist itself, to symbolize that we must find in ourselves the means and strength to achieve our goals.
