Rinascimento

I will always hold this mural close to my heart, not only because of the wonderful treatment of the Luce fest organization and the town of San Pietro Magisano, but also because of the personal story connected to it. Shortly after selecting this wall, I learned that Irene, the daughter of the homeowners, had been diagnosed with cancer. So I wanted to create something that could transcend their pain, a living, colorful and positive mural. That’s how the concept of "Rinascimento" came to life, symbolizing rebirth and hope.

During the days of the festival I was able to spend time with Irene and her family and I could feel that she was a person with a big heart, but a few months later I received the worst news. I can only hope that this mural continues to offer her family strength and serves as a lasting beacon of love, positivity, and resilience in their memory.
