This is SpARTa

In “This is SpARTa,” RoyalVenom fuses classical mythology with urban rebellion in a dynamic mural painted on the raw concrete slabs of Saint Petersburg. A striking fusion of contemporary calligraffiti and Hellenic iconography, the piece juxtaposes a stylized blackletter explosion with a bold, comic-book-styled Spartan warrior wielding a spray can in place of a spear. The warrior—donning traditional armor, shield, and Corinthian helmet—symbolizes defiance and protection of artistic freedom, reclaiming public space through creative resistance.
