Tereshkova: Through Thorns to the Stars

Valentina Tereshkova with the call sign "Chaika" became the sixth cosmonaut of the USSR and the first woman to go into space. She made her flight on the Vostok-6 spacecraft, starting on June 16, 1963. The flight lasted three days.
