Water is life

Probably oldest mural in Saint-Petersburg was created in the summer of 1990 in the framework of the American-Soviet project "All for One Earth".
The project took about 2 weeks. Mural was painted with acrylic paint brought from USA and covered with a protective layer of PVA glue. The theme, style and color are reminiscent of traditional Mexican wall paintings. The central figure represents Mother Earth. Right above her head you can see cat with wings, painted by 9 years old Svetlana, daughter of Nikolai Bogomolov.
