From the Maas to the Sea

Description

Painted for street art festival ALL CAPS 2025

In her search to find a local animal to feature in her mural, the artist researched the marine life in the river Maas the flows close to the neighborhood. When she discovered that seals swim up the river as far as the city, she had found her subject. The whales obviously don't swim in the river, but are used to complete the picture and frame the main subject.

=====
