Marloes De Kiewit

In the painting we see two friends of the artist, Omaira and Jolanda. It is inspired on a painting the artist made a few years prior.

Because of the monumental status of the building, the choice of colors for this artwork was limited. Therefor she chose to use the gold paint to be able to give the painting something special.

To create depth she used the dotting technique in the faces.

This project was commissioned by the owners of the house it is painted on and supported by local government and Rewriters010.
