Smooth sailing

[text by artist]

This wall is part of a 3 murals and 6 pillars painted at the corner of the Mariniersweg and Rijstuin. It tells a story about the transition between the old and new Rotterdam from the harbour related historical perspective.

First of all I would like to thank the VVE de Marin for the opportunity and great care, making me feel right at home with many cups of tea and toasties.

Also a big thanks to the good friend and model Arjo de Ligt, also to Xtra materieel for arranging the impeccable scaffolding tools to work with.
