Friendship for the Future

The Japanese artist painted his biggest wall so far (25m X 11,5m)

The circle in the center of the wall symbolizes the fusion of the cities of Rijeka and Kawasaki as one planet.

The two hands extending toward the planet are the hands of a child reaching for the future, modeled after the hands of my 7-year-old son.

The exhaust vents at the top are modeled after two “rivers.

Rijeka means "river" in Croatian. Kawasaki also incorporates the common "river" motif.
