The map of churches
Description
The map of churches located in the part of Riga called Moskov's suburb and created by Anitra Bērziņa in 2007. The artwork shows the locations of all 11 churches of various denominations in the suburb. It has three distinctive parts:
- on the bottom left - all of the official names of the churches and numbers to locate them on the map,
- on the bottom right - the map of the suburb with street names and church numbers
- on top - an artistic representation of the silhouettes of all churches.
At first, it was possible to see the full size of the mural in any season as time has passed, some parts of the mural are covered by the tree canopy in summer.
