Generational balance

"Balance of the Generations" European School at the Pulverturm, Rheinberg von Malakkai from Copenhagen was created as part of the Pirartlon Festival 2019.

Isaac Malakkai, conceived in Barcelona but born in Almería. He always had a pencil in hand, but didn't know what he really wanted until he studied telecommunications, surrounded by numbers and trigonometry. Malakkai learned about graffiti in 2000, a fact that fueled the passion for drawing. He got to know new artists and only traveled with more passion.

From that day on he is at home between walls, paper and canvases. His works have passed through numerous exhibition spaces in Spain and nowadays one can admire his works from lost walls in Almeria, Girona and the Canary Islands to Nuremberg, Lyon, Naples, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Mexico, Djerba ... it is always dominated by the female figures and strange animals infused with irony and a special sense of humor.
