Continuum

This is a two part work. Along the wall in front of the apartments is a long banner of mosaic, each tile meticulously and specifically placed. Every color is found and the sunlight catches glints of metallic tiles for extra sparkle. In front of the entrance there is a large round bench covered entirely in mosaic tiles. Artist Valerie Theberge is known for her geometric designs sprinkled through Reston. With the changing light of the seasons, different bits of these pieces capture the eye daily, making it a never ending delight.
