Decorative Icons

These icons used to hang on the outside wall of the original Lake Anne Pharmacy. The pharmacy was one of the first businesses at Lake Anne in the new town of Reston in 1965 and the pieces were meant to convey whimsy as well as an invitation to stop in. When the pharmacy closed, the icons were saved, restored, and eventually reinstalled in their present location, under the breezeway leaving the plaza to the east.
