"Huidhonger" is a new Dutch term coined during the health crisis with its confinement and social distancing measures.This word, which literally means hunger (Honger) of the skin (Huid), is used to describe the feeling of emptiness and lack of physical contact experienced by a person. An essential and vital human need.
