Created in May 2026 on a 16-meter-long fence at Sokol headquarters, this mural marks the 125th anniversary of the first women's performance at the All-Sokol Slet in 1901 - a milestone in women’s physical education and emancipation.
The composition centers on physical fitness, courage, and female community. Its focal point is a large portrait of early Sokol instructor Anna Ptáčková, capturing her determination and leadership during exercise routines. Beside her, women holding vintage gymnastics clubs are modeled on the artist's friends and local running partners (Péťa, Amálka, and Terka). Depicting this contemporary running group in historical attire directly links early female athleticism with present-day sport. Stylized falcon (sokol) wings frame the layout, encouraging women to pursue bold dreams.
Ultimately, the artwork honors forgotten pioneers in women's sports while reflecting on female strength, community, and presence in modern public space.
