Jeżycjada

The mural is very large, covers as many as three floors of the tenement house and catches the eye from afar. From the windows, balconies and from behind the doors emerge well-known and popular characters of the Jeżycjada series, including Ida Borejko and Ignacy - a respected senior of the family. There were even animals that have been passing through the heroes' apartments for years. Radosław Barek, architect, founder of the Wędrowni Architekci association, lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture of the Poznan University of Technology is responsible for the project. Poznań residents can associate his characteristic style with the equally impressive and colorful mural Opowieść Śródecka with a trumpeter on the roof and a cat in the background, which is located in Śródka. The Barka project was made (live!) by talented artists from the MUR ALL studio.
