For anyone wondering about my intent behind this wall: It’s about being aware of the beauty in life. A thing doesn’t become beautiful until it has reached your senses and gives you a certain feeling inside. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say, not inherently in the thing you are beholding. So in a way the world is as beautiful as you make it yourself, leaving you in charge of it. That’s why I wanted to paint a character that has these colorful bubbles coming out of him, as beauty comes from the inside. And a little wink to my fellow artists as we make physical manifestations of this concept, just like those bubbles physically come out of my character. So yeah, open your eyes and see that beauty and meaning in this life come from within yourself.
