"Largo Maradona"

Few people are aware that football legend Diego Maradona was a benefactor of Pompei's orphanages. Maximiliano Bagnasco wished to commemorate him with a mural in Pompei to remind everyone of his generous nature.

"I never expected that my mural would lead to the renaming of a street in Pompei. I often say that I want to transform places, and it has finally occurred. My homage to Diego is a new victory for Diego! Many thanks to the Pompeians and the Pompei Street Festival organisers for their support!" Maximiliano Bagnasco
