"The Reading Dive"

"The reading dive" seeks to translate the feeling of being captured by an excellent book, where dream, fantasy, and reality collide without being able to interrupt the reading. There is a reference to the character immersed in literature and oblivious to what is going on around her. The bird represents the unawareness, in this case of the Pompeians, who were about to succumb to the eruption. More than an exact explanation, this painting evokes varied perspectives and emotions in every pedestrian who looks at it, much to the artist's satisfaction!
