The Barcode
Description
Commissioned by Drake Circus shopping mall, it's inside the doorway of the underground car park for the Barcode Cinema, reached down steps from a pavement entrance near the Turtle Bay restaurant on Exeter Street. There are portraits of Marilyn Monroe - who was descended from one of the passengers on the Mayflower which sailed from Plymouth in 1620, and of film actor Richard Greene who was born in Plymouth
