Calle 16

Calle 16 is a community-built art, cuisine and cultural district located on 16th Street in Phoenix, AZ.

The Calle 16 mural project, begun in March 2012, can be seen along 16th Street, on the strip between Thomas and Roosevelt. This project was organized by Barrio Cafe owner and Chef Silvia (Silvana Salcido Esparza') and created to unite the neighborhood and be a place of pride for its people. Artists who have supported the project include CaseBeer, Gennaro Garcia and Hugo Medina.
