Gema Mural

"Gema" was created by artist Edgar Fernandez to celebrate diversity and resilience among women of color. Featured are local Latinas who all made a difference in Edgar's life.

The Spanish text along the top of the mural comes from an old song that translates to "You are the gem that God converted into a woman."
