Grazing Gilbert

The traffic signal cabinet mural is part of an effort to increase public art in Gilbert's Downtown Heritage District.

Local artist Ariana Enriquez was selected to complete the project by a committee comprised of Town of Gilbert staff, members of the Redevelopment Commission and Heritage District merchants.

Ariana said, "The box design incorporates cattle and hay on the front panel in honor of Gilbert's agricultural staples. The back panel features a railroad crossing sign along with the Union Pacific Railroad pedestrian bridge that is a gateway to the Heritage District, in honor of key developments to the city."
