The Battle of Toxic Trash and Durian Fruits

for Cambodia Urban Art Festival – Phnom Penh (Cambodia)

During the Cambodia Urban Art Festival I met the artist Le Funky. Our two cartoon styles inspired us and we wanted to collaborate. This large wall in a small street of Phnom Penh presented itself to us and we associated our two styles in a mixture between The Creation of Adam and a merciless battle between the garbage of the street and the Khmer tradition represented by Apsara, the Naga snake, the elephant and the Durian, a famous exotic and smelly fruit.

 Lors du Cambodia Urban Art Festival j’ai fait la connaissance de l’artiste Le Funky. Nos deux styles cartoons nous ont inspiré et nous souhaitions faire une collaboration. Ce grand mur dans une petite rue de Phnom Penh s’est présenté à nous et nous avons associé nos deux styles dans un mélange entre La Création d’Adam et d’une bataille impitoyable entre les ordures de la rue et la tradition khmere représentée par l’Apsara, le serpent Naga et l’éléphant ainsi que du Durian, célèbre fruit exotique et malodorant.
