Simon Lazarus @ The Mansion (Cambodia Urban Art 4th Edition)

4th edition of CAMBODIA URBAN ART (Street Art Festival in Phnom Penh)

We were glad to welcome Simon Lazarus 84 (@simonlazarus84), a french visual artist, to come and paint an abstract piece at Mansion FCC. His bicolor work is a meeting between a pixelated digital aesthetic and a reinterpretation of Khmer calligraphy and graffiti style.

Mixing graphic design and pixel aesthetics  with his graffiti practice, Simon’s work ranges from video mapping to murals and digital sculpture. He loves to experiment with different surfaces and technologies while being fascinated by the world of Fab Labs and digital fabrication, thus being able to amaze the beholder with the somehow perplexing and complex universe he created with his works.
