I am the Atlanic

Done on September 1, 2013 - this mural was sponsored by the Porch Light Program to inspire and stop the increased violence in troubled neighborhoods within the city. The artist wanted to grasp the issue of violence and trauma among youths. The projects goals is to show the young participants and viewers that they are survivors not victims and that involvement leaves a lasting impact. The image depicts three kids on a boat on rough waters making their way to the light - showing no matter the struggle, stay strong and you'll survive.
