Done in 2008 and sponsored by WXPN - this mural is part of a series called the Sounds of Philadelphia Mural Series. Properly placed by St. Joseph's Hospital, this piece shows the positive energy and healing power music gives. It celebrates Philadelphia's musical heritage and the growing cultural influence of music in the area. In collaboration with the mural, WXPN presented the hospital with the gift of a "CD Pharmacy" to their patients so anyone can listen to music whenever they'd like.
