Lifelong Learning

Done in 2003, this mural depicts how senior citizens continuing their want to learn. They wanted to show that education doesn't stop at any age, and to encourage others to continue to read, practice, or pursue. Many of the models for this mural were actual residents living at the Fountains - including, jack of all trades, Dr. Wally Shaw who began filming at 40 and later becoming the highest ranked amateur film maker in the Photographic Society of America (pictured at the bottom right taking a photograph).
