Jane Court

Painted for the Canning Bridge Mural Project in Nov 2022 by Darren Hutchens, at 872 Canning Highway, in the suburb of Applecross. The area has undergone major change over the last few years with the demolition of old houses and the constructions of high rise apartment buildings, as it's an area just a few minutes from Perth's city centre. The artist responded to the riverside location of Applecross and the adjacent "Jane Court" building, a modest mid-century block of flats, which I assume will sooner or later be demolished to give rise to tall apartment blocks, as already seen in the area.
