Soil Painting

The local artists led members of the Parkes Painters, Parkes Potters, Craft Corner and other community participants in the creation of three large 'soil' paintings for an exhibition titled Erratic Symbiosis, Unearthing Past Voices - Sowing Future Visions (June 2017). This exhibition celebrated the 10 years Ub Ubbo Exchange has been facilitating cultural exchanges in Australia and the Philippines.

Handmade paint from local bricks, soil and blue metal was used to paint the community artworks. This public art installation permanently captures the community created art.
