The female figure at the centre with a Mona Lisa smile gives off an impression of quiet strength and power. By weaving her hair she seems to compose her future, join her forces to transcend herself in a breath of life.
The braid represents the sacred feminine energy. But also solidarity, union and reminds of traditional handmade weavings.
The fern is a symbol of life, able to reborn even when it seems dead. It reminds us of the connection with the divine but also to the earth, the Pachamama, as well as the power of nature. It also represents peace and harmony, and emphasizes this idea of quiet strength.
The ethnic patterns that adorn the background are inspired by handmade fabrics and evoke the question of cultural identity, the connection with traditions and one’s roots.
A mystical force emerges from this woman with golden tears, creating an oniric groove in her path.
