The self-combustion of the super match

This work was realized for the Biennale street art "Superwalls" (May-June 2023).

A gray city in the background, a giant lit match in the foreground. The artist has decided to give continuity to the work designed in 2021 for the previous edition of Super Walls, placing the emphasis on the theme of respect for the environment. The matchstick in this mural has a face and it is a worried face that stands out against a head made of factories and smoke. His flame is dazzling and is about to lick the city that lies beneath him. Symbol of the ephemeral, the match is the mirror of our hasty behavior, of all those gestures made without thinking too much about the consequences. Respect for the environment in which we live passes through our every single action.
