PB 3000

Description

In this mural Norbert3000 and Volker paint a huge mural, showing Paderborn in the year 3000. A look into the crystal ball already reveals, that electric mobility will not yet be established in the city in 3021. Instead, Norbert and Volker are riding on a deer into the nebulous and purple city. At least the cathedral and the town hall are still at the center of the modern skyline even 1000 years later. That's very reassuring.

Sven Niemann is a PhD student at the Institute for German Studies and Comparative Literature at the University of Paderborn. His research interests are political graffiti, protest language and forms of minimal writing in public space. Since 2014 he has been leading public graffiti tours for the tourist information office in Paderborn. As a team member of the Secret City Fassadenfestival, he promotes the visibility of urban art in his adopted home of Paderborn.
