In the middle of the night the tawny owl alights in Jesus Oak. Under the light of the full moon, this cheerful bird wakes up in the wooded area of ​​Overijse. The animal forest goes to sleep, but the night is still young for the tawny owl. With a flash of lightning, the creature disappears into the night.
The municipality of Overijse has been a fixture in the street art world for several years now. Several murals make the municipality a colorful and pleasant place. To highlight Overijse's values ​​and assets, we set to work with Treepack to create a real art hotspot. After an extensive tour elentrik route in which 40 utility cabinets were brightened up by local and professional talent, 6 locations were upgraded with murals.
The tawny owl is a work of art that should certainly not be missed in this route. In addition, the mural really comes to life when you scan the QR code.

Midden in de nacht strijkt de bosuil neer in Jezus-Eik. Onder het licht van de volle maan ontwaakt deze vrolijke vogel in de bosrijke omgeving van Overijse. Het beestenbos gaat slapen, maar voor de bosuil is de nacht nog jong. Met een flits van de bliksem verdwijnt het beestje in de nacht.
De gemeente Overijse is al enkele jaren een vaste waarde in de streetartwereld. Verschillende muurschilderingen maken van de gemeente een kleurrijke en aangename plek. Om de waarden en troeven van Overijse extra in de verf te zetten gingen we met Treepack aan de slag om een echte kunst-hotspot te creëren. Na een uitgebreide tour elentrik route waarbij 40 nutskasten werden opgefleurd door lokaal en professioneel talent, werden er 6 locaties opgewaardeerd met muurschilderingen.
De bosuil is in dit traject een kunstwerk dat zeker niet mag ontbreken. Daarbovenop komt de muurschildering ook écht tot leven wanneer je de QR-code scant.
