The Belgian Ambassador asked me to paint a mural for the Embassy of Ottawa, Canada. Unfortunately I could not travel there due to covid restrictions, so I made the mural at home on big wooden panels after which it was sent to Canada.
The mural commemorates the bond between Belgium and Canada sice WOI (Flanders Fields) and depicts two important figures from that time (John McCrae and Mary Riter Hamilton).
