Kalandar Project

Depicting both the suburbs of Nowra and the Nowa Nowa (which is Aboriginal for the Black Cockatoo), the scene is the cockatoo swooping and landing on a gum tree branch, with houses that were typically built for naval and air personnel after World War II. This artwork replaces a small corner artwork, with the other side still slightly intact.
