"ALWAYS A BETTER DAY"

Raised in Miami's infamous Carol City neighborhood, Ivan J. Roque has "a passion for the concepts of birth, death, renewal, and social struggles." Roque has already worked for an impressive list of brands, collaborated with musicians, and painted alongside A-list artists, and Roque has traveled extensively, painting and exhibiting his work in places like NYC, Dubai, and South Korea. In 2018 he added this work at Desire St and St Claude Ave in New Orleans. Roque created this tribute to the roll of the catfish across the south, and says the vines represent the "connection between all living things." A much needed reminder today more than ever that there's "Always a Better Day."
