The base of the artwork the wraps around the tower is an Aboriginal artwork by Wiradjuri artist Owen Lyons, where three main circles underpin the three murals with the section outline of the Murrumbidgee River. Each of the artworks include significant objects, history, and icons for the Narrandera Shire Community.
The first two artworks were painted in June 2019, where one features the koala heavily, as well as the Tiger Moth Airplane, and the other a lizard and paddle steamer. A third mural with the Murray Cod was completed in February 2022 after COVID-19 lockdowns.
Each of the artworks were digitally illustrated using a collage style by Justin Pedler and Sam Yong, and were painted by Apparition Media artists Larissa Fae, Julian De Lio, Christian Vine, Connor Mclennan and Tayla Broekman.
Note: The information signs were added during the creation of the first two murals, so it does not include any information about the third.
