Le Black Ours

« Le Black Ours » represents an indigenous guardian taking care of nature. The  mural tends to remind us that wildlife and humanity are dependent on the health of the natural environment.
The elements were carefully chosen to create an interaction with the neighbourhood; some birds have been chosen by people living in the apartments facing the wall and others by the kids that daily walk through those streets, all this during the process of production of the mural.

"As part of my concern of the ecological impact we have on the environment, I’ve reduced my consumption of materials to paint this piece, using a minimum of acrylic paint to reduce the waste (2.7 lt.).": explains the artist

The mural is part of the program Art Mural 2020 of Montreal city hall  and Ville Marie District.
