14 Rue de l'Église, 34430 Saint-Jean-de-Védas, France

Large wall (6x9 meters) representing a gorgeous woman portrait by dynamic duo @sanckoartiate & @outoftheblack. Commissioned by the town of St Jean de Vedas one of the outskirts of Montpellier as part of a large project started by the town hall to create an Open Air Art Museum.
Beautiful piece in what was a really ugly wall. Great setting with the church’s tower standing behind it.

Sancko is an engaged painter, street artist, paste up artist and performer.
Her paintings address current, political and social themes and reflect on identity and difference. An intense black & white universe, punctuated with red where sex, passion, sensuality, softness, pain, wounds and fights, mingle and unravel.

Outofthe.black is an artistic director and artist working both on commissioned projects but also on various personal or citizen artistic projects. His minimalist and geometric universe revolves around themes such as order and chaos, hybridization or distortion of reality.

From their encounter was born Sanckøblack, a unique new universe, mixing their different aspirations.
